About Me

Hi! I’m Ori. Not much to say other than the fact that I’m a native Chinese speaker, though my reading and writing could do with improvement. I’m using translation as a way to relearn Chinese, and hopefully will eventually take less than three hours to read 1k haha.

I started reading translated Chinese novels earlier this year, around February. My friend was reading Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, and next thing I knew, I was drowning in NovelUpdates.

My favorite genre so far has been quick transmigration novels, but I’ll read anything that sounds interesting or is self-indulgent.

As said above, I’m a native Chinese speaker, but that doesn’t mean my reading or writing skills are professional. In fact, THIS TRANSLATION SITE IS PURELY FOR ENTERTAINMENT and my self education. It’s in no way professional.

I will try to keep updates constant, but as I am a perfectionist, I tend to double check and cross reference things over multiple sites like XYZDict, Yabla, and Ichacha. If there are any grammar mistakes, feel free to point it out and I will fix it. If there are any translation mistakes, I ask that you give me an explanation so I can learn from it!
